Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup suji (semolina)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp mixed vegetables (peas, carrot, beans) - finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp oil or ghee
  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  • Pinch of turmeric
  • Salt to taste (minimal)

Instructions

    Roast suji

    Dry roast suji in a pan for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Set aside.

    Cook vegetables

    Heat oil, add mustard seeds. Add vegetables and cook until soft.

    Add suji and water

    Add roasted suji and slowly add water while stirring. Cook until thick and soft.
