About Easy Little Meals
From One Mom to Another
Easy Little Meals was born out of the very real, very overwhelming experience of introducing my baby to solid foods. I searched everywhere for simple, honest guidance — not overly complicated recipes that required 15 ingredients, but practical ideas that a tired parent could actually pull off on a weekday morning.
I wanted recipes that were nutritious, not scary. Guides that respected the fact that every baby is different. And a community that understood the messy, beautiful chaos of feeding a tiny human.
That blog didn't quite exist, so I built it.
What We Cover
Every blog post on Easy Little Meals is a comprehensive guide — not just one recipe, but a full exploration of a meal type, age stage, or feeding challenge. You'll find:
- Stage-based purees — from smooth first purees at 4–6 months through chunkier combinations as your baby grows
- Baby-led weaning (BLW) — safe finger foods, textures, and practical BLW guidance
- Indian baby food — khichdi, ragi porridge, dal, and traditional foods adapted for little ones
- Toddler meals — family-friendly recipes for 1–4 year olds, including picky eater strategies
Our Promise
Every recipe on this site has been tested in a real kitchen, with a real child (who has real opinions about food). We don't have a team of food scientists — we have a kitchen, a baby, and a genuine desire to help you feed yours with confidence.
All content is for informational and educational purposes only. For medical nutrition advice specific to your child, please consult your pediatrician or a registered dietitian.
